The Teatro Toselli was founded in 1803 following the redevelopment of the Church adjoining the Capuchin Convent. The earliest renovation was carried out in 1828 and modelled on the Carlo Felice in Genova. It resulted in a layout with three tiers of boxes and a balcony that were finely decorated with stuccowork and velvet. Today the Teatro Toselli hosts a theatre season organised by the City of Cuneo with the collaboration of Fondazione Piemonte dal Vivo.
